A Sunday dinner favorite, adapted from Georgia Peach Commission recipes

- ½ tsp. orange zest freshly grated
- 2 tbsp. orange juice
- 1½ tbsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. corn starch
- 4 cups peaches fresh, peeled and sliced
- ½ cup light brown sugar firmly packed
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- ⅓ cup rolled oats
- ¼ tsp. ground nutmeg
- ¼ tsp. salt
- 4 tbsp. butter cold, unsalted, and cut into bits
Preheat the over to 375℉.
In a small bowl, combine the zest, orange juice, sugar, and cornstarch; mix well.
Mix in the peaches and coat them.
Spoon the mixture into a the baking dish.
In a small bow, combine the remaining ingredients, mixing until the mixture resumes coarse meal.
Sprinkle the topping evenly over the peach mixture.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the peaches are bubbling around the edges of the dish and the top is golden. Cool slightly before serving.
